Addi got home from Italy a couple of weeks ago and we quickly got together to work on some painting projects. I love when she’s home because the creativity is endless! She has painted several cool things in my house that I have posted about before and I can assure y’all I am NOT done having her splatter paint in my house for sure! I adore her and admire her ability to effortlessly create things whether it’s fun doodles or more sincere pieces she is capable of anything and what’s even better is she is a graceful teacher. I am literally soaking up every bit of instruction I can get from this girl because I just know some day she’s going to be famous and have NO time for my little gigs. She effortlessly taught me how to paint whimsy flowers y’all!!

I text Addi after we had gotten home from a painting job a week ago and threw this cool mailbox idea at her and she was up for running with it! Fortunately I had a willing volunteer mailbox for us to get started on. Luckily for my friend we didn’t do any damage! Addi is SO good at painting whimsy flowers and fonts so with her artistic guidance and my reassurance to her that if we really botched this box it would be fixable, this is what we came up with! We used acrylic paints and sealed it at the end with three coats of polyurethane and it turned out perfect! What do ya think?! Adorable or what? We have a couple more mailboxes in the works right now and totally think this could be a fun little thing to do more regularly while Addi is home on breaks and in the summer. Right now you can get a similar design painted and sealed up by Addi for just $35!
